Bornholm’s Cooperative Dairy traces its roots all the way back to 1886, when a group of innovative farmers saw economies of scale in a more cooperative-oriented agriculture. In 1936, at its peak, there were 343 shareholders. Today, nearly 100 years later, there are about 20 shareholders, all benefiting from the foundation laid by previous generations through hard work and dedication.
